What can begin with a single spark?

A spark is small—but it can be the beginning of light, warmth, change, an idea, a passion… even hope. Sometimes all we need is that first flicker to remind us that the darkness isn’t permanent.

This piece begins with a vintage lighter—worn, imperfect and carrying a history all its own. An antique Victorian bracelet link has been resined onto its face, framing a tiny fragment rescued from an old religious tract. Only two words remain: “Hope Will…”

The lighter is suspended from an unexpected mix of vintage pearl and silver-toned chain, paired with chunky vintage brass chain and a tiny star—because sometimes the smallest bit of light is enough to find your way.
